|The Client||Person who has booked a meeting with KGT Consulting either directly or through a third party|
|KGT Consulting||Karen Gordon and a named consultant referred to and working for KGT Consulting, where the invoice is sent from and paid to KGT Consulting.|
|Force Majeure||A party is not liable for failure to perform the party’s obligations if such failure is as a result of Acts of God (including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, hurricane or other natural disasters), war, invasion, act of foreign enemies, hostilities (regardless of whether war is declared), civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, military or usurped power or confiscation, terrorist activities, nationalisation, government sanction, blockage, embargo, labour dispute, strike, lockout or interruption or failure of electricity or telephone service. No party is entitled to terminate this Agreement under Clause 5 (Cancellation) in such circumstances.
If a party asserts Force Majeure as an excuse for failure to perform the party’s obligation, then the nonperforming party must prove that the party took reasonable steps to minimize delay or damages caused by foreseeable events, that the party substantially fulfilled all non-excused obligations, and that the other party was timely notified of the likelihood or actual occurrence of an event described.

The client accepts to the terms and conditions as set forth herein
- Booking of services
Business requests will be confirmed in writing (email) by the client directly to KGT Consulting
These will be agreed in advance of service and requested in advance
KGT Consulting will not be held liable for any costs incurred to the client due to a cancellation which is not under their control (Force Majeure)
KGT Consulting cancellation: everything possible will be done to try to find a replacement or alternative date and the organiser/ individual being coached must be informed in writing
Client cancellation: cancellation must be communicated in writing and the client must have confirmation from Karen Gordon that the cancellation was received
In the event the client makes a cancellation in writing the following fees will be due:
Face to face individual Coaching:
Client will be liable to no costs with more than 48 hours in advance
Client will be liable to 25% of the fees up to 2 full days in advance
Client will be liable for 25% of the fees up to 1 month in advance
Client will be liable to 50% of the fees up to 2 weeks in advance
Client will be liable to 100% of the fees 7 days or less
Refunds will be given where full payment has been made in advance and the cancellation policy applies (point 4).
6. Client responsibility
The client will be required to be willing to put in the necessary amount of work to achieve their goals with the understanding that these services are to guide you. KGT Consulting is not responsible for you achieving your career and/or integration goals. This is your responsibility and depends on your willingness to listen, self- reflect, plan time in and to get further help if necessary. If you withhold information that could help KGT Consulting to help you then you will not be getting the best advice.
If you request negotiation advice, be aware that this advice is based on professional recruitment experience. KGT Consulting can not be responsible for any decisions the employer makes as a result of your demands.
Coaching is a confidential relationship for both the client and KGT Consulting. Karen Gordon follows continuing professional development and has coach supervision. KGT Consulting will not disclose the content of coaching conversations, except in general terms and anonymously when undertaking their own supervision. From time to time, whilst coaching, Karen Gordon may use case examples, but these will never be identifiable and will typically be an amalgam of several situations.
KGT Consulting agrees to keep any sensitive business information given by the client confidential. This includes information you have developed or disclosed to us about your business, affairs, customers, clients, plans, intentions, market opportunities, operations, processes, product information, know-how, designs, trade secrets, software or personal details.
8. Terms of payment
The Client will pay invoices in advance of meetings when requested. In 2020, KGT Consulting is registered with the tax authorities as a small business and therefore will not issue tax invoices but will issue an invoice for the total amount for your reference.

10. Legal liability
Business will be conducted in accordance with Dutch law.
This Privacy Statement describes how KGT Consulting & My English CV manage personal information and respect your privacy.
- KGT Consulting will keep your data only for the necessary amount of time. You can exercise your right to have your data deleted from KGT Consulting’s files. Please notify us of this request in writing. You will be notified in writing when this has been done. Data such as your name and address will be kept on the invoice file for a period of 7 years as required by the tax office in the Netherlands.
- Your Data will only be passed on to a third party in certain circumstances on receipt of your permission in writing. Once your Data is passed on, KGT will no longer be responsible for that Data.
- All reasonable precautions will be taken to keep your Data secure.
We hope that you will never have a reason to complain about KGT Consulting and the data we store about you.
